Usage of pornography changes our brain structure as well. The brain of a heroin addict is similar to the brain of a porn addict. Porn affects our brain in several ways. 

Your thoughts, experiences and actions create paths in your brain. By repeating a particular thing, the neural pathways are strengthened, creating an auto-response sequence. The sequence developed in your mind get much harder to break free.   

The prefrontal cortex is a part of our brain, responsible for good decision making and impulse control. Also, this part sends a strong jolt of dopamine and other hormones to your lower part of the brain, limbic system, which experiences pleasure. 

Watching porn repeatedly weakens our prefrontal cortex. The chemicals hit you for a short period, returning the craving for pleasure again.
