Journey into the adventurous world of Electon.

What Is Rhythm Roger About?

Heinrich Rudolf Hertz invented a unit of frequency and discovered electromagnetic waves, but virtually, he created a world of electromagnetic waves. Thomas Alva Edison gave entry to this world by inventing the bulb. The Virtual world, which is always around humans but cannot be seen or felt, is the world of unknown powers, known as Electon. World is not only what we see.

This virtual world is ruled by a queen Anagol and now it’s time for her son, Roger to take her place in order to save it from destruction. Rhythm is the main protagonist who of around 25 years in the human world, is a scientist in Finland. But as he time travels into the world of Electon he turns out to be Roger of around 10 years old. Then his life is filled with mysteries and events which would lead him to discover and save Electon from the darker forces.

My Opinion

Rhythm Roger totally blew my mind. I was not into science fiction but after reading this book, I am in love with this genre. The concept of this book is out of the box. I would say it is a mixed genre- Sci-fi and Fantasy. The beautiful illustrations made this book more interesting. I even enjoyed the narration of this book, which was slow and engaging. It had links with physics, which was very well detailed. This made us imagine even the impossible (very well use of imagery).

I must admit that this is the first time I have come across a book by an Indian author apart from the romantic or mythological genre and that too no characters were linked with India in any way. this concept was quite intriguing. This book is perfect for a movie adaptation. I am looking forward to it.

Writing Style

The writing style is simple and lucid. There are some errors here and there but it can be overlooked. The narration had the power to capture its readers. It is an easy read and definitely the book is unputdownable. Even the characters are very well written.

Who Should Read This Book?

I would definitely suggest it for beginners but not for the ones who can’t relate it with Science and especially Physics. This book is a cherry on the cake for all the comic readers who are in love with illustrations.

My Takeaway

The best part of this book is that it’s fast-paced and doesn’t fall short. A reader can clearly see in the story that the author has researched and sketched the story well.

Though this is a fiction story, it’s highly informative and provides moral values too. In short, it is a box full of adventure and fantasy.

Lastly, the cover of the book is just phantasmagorically magical.
