Before I Saw You should be top on your TBR list of February 2021. This story will make you realise what love is really about. It is a story of two people who never saw each other fell in love with each other. Two people who shared words and thoughts with each other.
Before I Saw You is a story of Alfie and Alice. Recovering from an accident, Alfie has spent months in a hospital and one day Alice joins him in the same ward. With 40% of the body burned, Alice is trying to fight with all the insecurities. She doesn’t walk to talk or see anyone. She doesn’t ask for any help. On the other hand, on the next bed, Alfie is a chatterbox and helpful person. He can’t understand how a person can be so quiet and be all alone.
Alfie doesn’t give up though Alice never gives an answer. Until one day when Alice starts talking to him. She never allows him to get into her side though.
The characters are so beautifully sketched in the book that you won’t feel lost even for once. Once you’ll pick up this book, it’ll get hard for you to keep it back. Every conversation has its own rhythm and depth. The struggle of Alfie to make Alice talk feels so real that you will feel like you were in that hospital watching them. It will become your mission to make that woman on the other side talk.
The writing style is quite engaging and lyrical. I recommend every YA fiction lover to read this book. Get ready for this romantic and beautiful story coming out on February 2021.
